The Yosemite Songwriting Retreat celebrates the art and craft of songwriting and performing original songs. For all skill levels and a variety of genres, we create an inspired and supportive community together, in a safe and fun music space. Join us, connect with your peers, pros and beginners, in this intimate songwriting community. Develop your music and lyric skill sets with classes, workshops, performance opportunities, and mentor sessions, with Sloan Wainwright, Michael McNevin, Dr. Matthew Suttor, Gail Dreifus, and other musicians. It’s all online, you’ll be learning from the comfort of your own creative space. * Kick off the Event on Thursday March 2nd at 6:30 pm (Pacific) with social and informational gathering where we'll answer any questions you might have regarding the Retreat! * Enjoy classes throughout the weekend, explore new approaches to songwriting, leave with a tried and true melting pot of ideas in your songwriting tool kit. * Book a 20 minute, one-on-one mentor session with one of our instructors to help you with a specific element of your song. * Share your works in progress with other participants at a Song Salon, for feedback and encouragement. * When you’ve got something you’re ready to share, perform at one of our evening open mic sessions.
