Wed Dec 28th South Pasadena, CA Wine & Song Series at Arroyo Seco Golf Course. McNevin & Friends songwriter extravaganza. 7pm - 9:45pm 1055 Lohman Lane, South Pasadena, CA 91030A multi-artist bill in South Pasadena, at the long running Wine & Song Series. It's usually run by songwriter pal and host Brad Colerick. But Brad is out of town, so yours truly is stepping in to host and play along side a great line-up of friends including Kim Michalowski, Severin Brownen, Corrina Carter, Jaynee Thorne, Renee Azzari, Nathan Conn, and possible other cameos. Wine & Song is at Arroyo Seco Golf Course's intimate 60 seat event room, with stage, sound, and low light ambiance. Showtime is 7pm. $15 table seating, $10 general admission. Arroyo Seco Grill has food, wine, and full bar. Or bring your own bottle for a $10 corkage fee. Kitchen is open until 8:30. Come early for golf under the lights with Michael. 5pm on the first tee. Sat Dec 31st Fremont CA The Mudpuddle Shop TWO NYE jams and swaps. 2-5pm, and 9pm-Midnight. 37433 Niles Blvd Fremont CA 94536 McNevin & Friends, Los Horribles, friends, neighbors, listeners, pickers, you're all invited, no RSVP required, just show up. Two NYE parties, afternoon and evening: 2-5pm with Sandi & Skip Snyder of The Rockerfellers and other locals, and the New Years Eve jam & swap goes 9pm-Midnight, with a similar blueprint - a rotating roster of players in the mix. Any pickers and listeners can attend and be part of it, come go anytime. As we "strum in" the new year, we could pop bubbly every hour (it's midnight somewhere right?). So, if folks who can't be at the puddle party at midnight, the muddy ball will drop at a reasonable hour for you :-). No RSVPs required, but it does help if you tell me you're thinking of coming, on the Facebook Event Page or by email so I can ballpark the headcount at each shindig.
