McNevin Denmark/Sweden Tour April 28- May 16 2015 Anybody have friends in beautiful Denmark & Sweden? Have a small boatload of songwriting, songwriter concerts, with songwriter friends next week through mid May. Starts with a Thursday April 30 House Concert in Copenhagen DK at writer Ann-Sofie Rørsgaard's place. Sat May 2nd is solo afternoon gig at H10 Cafe in Visby SE on the island of Gotland (in the Baltic Sea). Same Sat Evening of May 2nd is a cobill concert in Visby with Eva Hillered, Annika Fehling, and Brett Perkins, at Nunnan Pub. Sunday May 3rd starts a week-long songwriters retreat, south of Visby, Gotland Listening Room International Songwriters Retreat, I'll be one of two US guest writers, along with old pal Melissa Greener. Retreat leaders Brett, Eva, and Annika are the brains behind this amazing week of writing together (could be a short notice slot or two left for local writers in the region?) There is a retreat concert on May 9th also - check the listening room site for that info. Monday May 11th I shoot north to Stockholm with songwriters Maria Blom and Annika Fehling for a midweek "Sandwich Tour", mostly around Stockholm, includes an old town venue, a prison, a castle, and a songwriting workshop. May 14th I visit Sweden's southwest coast for a cobill House Concert in Gothenburg with Sofia Ekberg.
