Hey Mudheads!
Three pretty nice local gigs this weekend and next weekend - Livermore's Blacksmith Square for an afternoon outdoor kickoff of their courtyard series Sat May 10th. Also a nice new Pleasanton wine bar - "Cellar Door" on Friday Night May 16th. And, a concert cobill with dear friends "Calaveras" in Fremont at Mission Coffee Sat Night May 17th. These are all with Patrick McClellan on upright bass and vocals, and likely a few 'Spokes' including old friend Phil Bennett (Starship keyboardist and all around great guy :-). Hope you can make it out!
Also, I'm trekking to Kerrville TX this Memorial Day weekend, it's been a long while since i got to hang with my old Texas folk fest tribe, hope to see old friends and of course a buncha new ones, because that is what happens there. Toward the end of May i visit the annual SummerSongs Song Camp getaway down in Cambria on the central CA coast - I'll be teaching and writing all weekend May 29th-June1st. That is something anyone can attend - write some new stuff, get a lot of great play time in a beautiful setting, it's amazing. For those out of town details visit the festival or the song school at these links: http://www.kerrville-music.com & www.summersongs.com
Any open other dates in May and through the Summer are susceptible to house concerts - you could host one in your living room.
Get Muddy.
