Wed 4/9 is a Mudpuddle Shop Concert w/ Craig Carothers from Nashville. Fine songs and chops. Puddle-goers may remember him from the triple bill he did at the puddle a few months back with hit writers Steve Seskin and Don Henry. He's on his own this trip! Craig hails from Portland, OR, and now makes his home in Nashville, TN. He‘s released ten albums in the last twenty years. His songs have been recorded by Trisha Yearwood, Kathy Mattea, and Peter, Paul, and Mary, just to name just a few. He has performed from Los Angeles to Stockholm, sharing the stage with Bruce Cockburn, John Hiatt, Patty Larkin, Little River Band, Michael McDonald, Anne Murray, Boz Skaggs, Jethro Tull, and many others. Received the Portland Music Association's Crystal Award for "Best Folk Act" and "Best Single." Half of the year he’s on tour, and the other half he spends in Nashville writing, producing, designing album covers, and goofing off. Sadly, he is not the founder of “Craig’s List.”There will also be a special 4-song guest opener w/ Kim Michalowski (She headlines her own showcase at the puddle on Friday April 4th). A song swap follows the concert if enough pickers can stay up on a school night. We won't go too late, but do bring your axe or just enjoy as a listener. Craig Carothers Concert.
