2nd Annual Geck Treck in Niles, Quarry Lakes, Fremont (Niles District), CA
The 2nd Annual "Geck Trek" Sun Oct 21 in Fremont, CA at Quarry Lakes, the 'old pits' i used to swim in as a kid, are now a very nice water park with wonderful grounds for this 2 mile walk-or-run for Pancreatic Cancer awareness. last year 2-300 folks came out, did the walk around the water, and had a BBQ afterward. A great cause with some wonderful Niles folks putting it together. There will be casual music as the run/walkers come back to the party to relax.
