Good pal songwriter and author Carla Ulbrich is in NoCal for a few days of radio, pr, and sight seeing - anyone want to come to a Mudpuddle Concert and Jam for her? Short notice, but tomorrow (Sat) works for her, and for me too. I seat 20 people max. It can be a concert, and/or part jam, in which case a 10-15 crowd would be cool if it turns more into a circle to just play and have fun. She's hangin in Niles a couple days. If anyone remembers, Carla was the first artist I hosted indoors at the Edison Theater when I moved the "Sandlot Concert & Picture Show" from the vacant lot at the end of town into the theater - it was a sold out show, and she had the crowd in the palm of her hand. This is a chance to be up close and personal. Wonderful songwriter, funny as hell, and a new book!
