Mudpuddle Shop Triple Bill w/ Mary Pitchford & Kyle Alden, Fremont, CA
A Saturday Night 7pm triple-bill featuring Kyle Alden, Mary Pitchford, & Michael McNevin, and guitarist James DePrado (from Mary's band, they also play out as a duo). More about Kyle and Mary: Kyle is a fine songwriter, and is involved in several projects, including The Reckless Flames (original/celtic folk-rock) who headlined at the Plaza last May. He plays mandolin, guitar, and a bit of fiddle. Mary Pitchford also fronts her o...wn band. She's a wonderful songwriter as well, cool voice, outstanding fiddle player, and she also tickles the ivories. She'll be joined by her band's guitarist James DePrado, they played as a duo at Essanay Cafe (some may remember them and also Kyle as feature acts at McNevin & Friends nights). We'll be doing short sets each, and swapping some songs and playing on each other's stuff. A 'shop jam' may also ensue following the concert.
