The name of this homegrown back yard festival is a play on words and an homage to the real Kerrville Festival in TX. It takes place up near Santa Rosa, CA in in Dale and Laura Geist's 5 acre spread. Ample parking, and Overnight Camping is encouraged too, bring some friends and picnic stuff, enjoy a full day of music and friendship. Good music, good beer, good food, good dogs (Cur is latin for dog...). They have goats too.
Here's some of this year's line up! Doug Blumer and the Bohemian Highway, returning after a year's hiaitus; JL Stiles, coming back after two years away; Spark & Whisper, fronted by Velvy Appleton and Anita Sandwina (2/3 of Cur-ville faves Three at Last); and the lovin' vibes of Lindalou and Michael, and yours truly be camping and singing like a dawg.
