McNevin & Maybelle, SoCal In March

Early March McNevin shows in SoCal & NoCal!
Friends in SoCal, I'm driving south this morning, in a '92 Cadillac. Her name is Maybelle McGuzzlah. I'll own her for a month or two while I figure out my next touring rig. I've packed a bunch of old cassette tapes for the drive, cuz that's all she's got in her dash. She drives like a dreamboat!
Details below, hope to see some familiar faces!

Concert starts at 7pm, at the Arroyo Seco Golf Course. Great listening vibe, tasty affordable food and bevs, a plethora of Who's Whos shows up for these things. This one will be especially special. I'll be doing a tune or two as well.

Severin hosts this First Fridays at Kulak's monthly songwriter hang.  I've not played Kulak's in YEARS, it's a great little place! (Like the Mudpuddle Shop's big little brother). Severin is the host, and it's quite a happening.!
Sev and his band will close the night, band (usually) includes: Alex Del Zoppo on piano; Barrett Tagliarino on guitar; John Stowers on bass; Merritt Raff on drums; David Stone on piano and ukulele; Mara Wells on harmonica; Jaynee Thorne and Leslie Beauvais on Background Vocals; with John Cartwright on bass (with Dave and Mara), and Jime Van Booven on bass (with Barrett and Merritt).

McNevn house concert at Coddy & Mary's place.
A song swap follows concert.
RSVP: or (818) 486-8505.
11305 Blue Sage Dr. Kagel Canyon, CA 91342.
Doors 6pm, show at 7pm. $15 donation.
The "Live A The A-Frame" house concert series includes a potluck and a song swap after, RSVP with Coddy. Coddy & Mary have an amazing house, and if you're a diehard, there are usually 10-15 songwriters swapping tunes in the living room after the show is over. Bring a tune or just your ears and hang out a while. The driveway is steep so if this is a problem, please come early and park up near the house. And if you park on the street, be very sure you leave enough room for a firetruck to get by.
Sat Mar 10th, 6-9pm.
House Concert at Caroline's place.
With Bay Station & Michael McNevin.
A songwriter house concert co-bill with Michael McNevin & Bay Station (featuring Alameda songwriters Deborah Crooks and Kwame Copeland). Doors at 6pm, show at 6:30pm. Sliding suggested donation is $15-25. This is just a half mile from where I live, but it'll feel like miles, a rare occasion to get away from the Mudpuddle Shop - thanks Caroline! Light refreshments provided, and/or BYO favorite beverage. The concert takes place at a private home, seats about 40, cosy and listening room vibe. A possible song swap & jam can follow the concert after the concert. RSVPs are mandatory, email Caroline directly for your seat and the address:
